GRIMM: A NEW MUSICAL

GRIMM: A New Musical combines many of the beloved Brothers Grimm fairy tales, including Hansel and Gretel and Rumplestiltskin, to create a brand new story which explores the bonds of family and the nature of good and evil. Originally conceived with Jon Randhawa for the St. John's University Chappell Players in 2009, the show would later be featured in the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival where it played to sold-out audiences and thrilled children and adults alike.

Ken Kruper composed a score so lush, evocative and beautiful that from the first notes of the opening ensemble number, I was catching my breath.

Kruper, the writer/composer, has a great ear for melody and themes and his harmonies are no slackers, either
